On October 15th, 2025, the CPEA Conference Committee, along with the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK), will host the Chief Power Engineer Education Conference at the DELTA BESSBOROUGH SASKATOON, located at 601 Spadina Crescent E, Saskatoon, SK.

The purpose of this conference is to create a forum for Chief Power Engineers to gather and share common industry updates, best practices and discuss changes that impact their day-to-day operations. This conference will include presentations on a variety of topics that are relevant to Chief Power Engineer roles and responsibilities as per the provincial Act and Regulations.

If you are interested in doing a presentation at the 2025 CPEA Conference, please contact Denny Stubel at denny.stubel@tsask.ca. The deadline to submit presentation topics is August 29th, 2025. We will then complete our selection process and contact the successful applicants.

Our presenter’s list will be finalized shortly. Once our list of presenters is finalized, we will send out the conference agenda. Past conferences have included updates from the Government of Saskatchewan, Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan and SOPEEC.

Presentations have also been provided on water technologies, steam piping designs, control room ergonomics, O.H. & S. inspections and Saskatchewan’s journey towards nuclear energy.

We invite all Chief Power Engineers, lead operators and any company representatives who would benefit from the conference to register. If you have any questions regarding the conference, please submit them to CPEA.information@gmail.com.
